Research and Partners
A Commitment to Knowledge and Community Resilience
The Happyness Center is proud to lead Research & Innovation that advances knowledge in community-based healing and disaster resilience. Through Community Science, we collaborate with institutions like Thompson Rivers University (TRU) and other foundations to explore the links between mental health, climate-related stress, and social recovery systems. This research helps shape more adaptive, resilient communities, especially in times of crisis. For more information and details of our research, please visit. www.karcf.org
At The Happyness Center, we believe healing, resilience, and transformation are most potent when rooted in community. That’s why we proudly partner with a vast network of organizations—including Elizabeth Fry Society, The Tree, First Nation bands, A New Tomorrow Treatment Center, Maverick (Ask Wellness), various addictions clinics, and many more. Together, we offer a holistic path toward well-being through:
- Inner Resilience Programs

- Trauma-Informed Clinical Counselling
Our mission is to create safe, inclusive spaces for individuals to reconnect with their inner strength, emotional clarity, and sense of purpose, regardless of their background or life circumstances.

What We Offer Through This Partnership
Our collaboration focuses on two core offerings that support individuals building a life in recovery:
